We are excited, joyful, and full of hope, and we thank the incoming Prime Minister, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, for the moral, national, and Zionist act of including the issue of treatment for IDF combat soldiers suffering from combat trauma in Israel’s coalition agreements, after 75 years of independence!
There were those who sought to prevent the clear preference given to those who served at the forefront of the Israel Defense Forces.
We are deeply moved and would also like to thank a remarkable woman, Mrs. Shifra Shahar, as well as the incoming Minister of Justice, MK Yariv Levin, and all the Members of Knesset from across the parties, who believed in this cause and made an extraordinary effort to have it explicitly written.
We, at Beit Cham Le’kol Chayal, Lochamim Le’Chaim, and Lochamim Bo’arim, standing with those suffering from combat trauma, will continue to do everything on the national level so that every Jewish mother will know that the State of Israel recognizes the soldiers it sends into battle.
Be strong and courageous!
