Many soldiers are forced to take leave from service and work in order to support their families, who are facing severe financial hardship. Commanders often turn to the organization requesting assistance with food supplies or payments for disconnected water or electricity bills. The organization provides immediate help, in order to prevent the solder absences, and assists in purchasing essential household appliances.
