A Warm Home for Every Soldier accompanies soldiers from difficult backgrounds, who do not have any support from their families during and after their military service. Upon their discharge from the army, they require guidance and tangible aid to help their transition from the military framework to civil life. They must find an immediate housing solution, attain financial means to sustain themselves and bridge educational gaps. A Warm Home for Every Soldier helps with employment and housing, provides financial aid, information about rights and assistance in applying for scholarships. Our endeavors help released soldiers to adjust and offer opportunities for successful participation in society.
In 2014 A Warm Home for Every Soldier established a scholarship fund , “Keren Hochma” named after the late Daniel Smart z”l . Today several scholarship recipients are supported by this fund. the recipients of this scholarship are military veterans who were lone soldiers or soldiers from families in need.
